My Mini Memoirs

Guided writing opportunities to evoke short life stories, personal narratives, and live storytelling productions.

What is My Mini Memoirs?

My Mini Memoirs is an expressive writing program that offers many opportunities to write short personal stories. Each session includes writing exercises and prompts to spark personal narratives about different ages, stages, lessons learned, defining moments, and more. Time is also allotted to share some stories out loud, demonstrating the timeless art of storytelling and how it connects people across cultures and generations.

Program options include:

  • Mini Memoir Writing Workshops (60, 90, 120min)

  • Mini Memoir Writing Groups (Weekly or Monthly Series)

  • Expressive Writing For Your Health Workshops

  • Writing Through Grief and Loss (5-Week Series)

  • Live Theme-Based Storytelling Productions

Whether you are a new or experienced writer, the focus is more on getting your thoughts out and stories down rather than critiquing your work. However, some writing tips will be shared to bring structure and life to your page, or coaching to help you take the stage.

If you enjoy camaraderie and having a creative space to write and share stories, please sign up!

About Me

I never considered myself a writer or had any motivation to write about my life until my mom shared her collection of memoirs with me.

She was my inspiration to write, start a group and become a facilitator of the craft. Writing and sharing stories has opened up my world in so many ways…
