My Mini Memoirs 6-Session Writing Series

Location: The Women’s Exchange in Winnetka

Write and share your stories in this engaging 6-session writing series. Writing exercises and prompts will be given to spark memories from different stages of life. Time will be allotted to craft a “mini- memoir” each week and share it with the group (optional). If you like accountability, camaraderie and sharing your stories, this group is for you! No experience necessary.

This 6-week series starts on 1/15/2026 and meets every two weeks on Thursday mornings from 10am - 12pm.

PHOTO ESSAY WORKSHOP: FROM IMAGE TO STORY

Location: Books of Life, 805 Ridge Rd, Wilmette, IL 

Join us for a Photo Essay Workshop under the theme of “Love”. Bring in one to three favorite photos of someone to dedicate this project to (partner, spouse, child, parent, grandparent, friend, pet, etc.). Includes writing prompts and tips to help you craft the story behind your picture - a gift to share with someone you love or treasure for yourself. No writing experience necessary. We’ll have fun bringing those memories to life while indulging in some bubbly and chocolate. Space is limited.
