Thanks to all who turned out for the first production of LoveNotes! Real Stories. Real People. Real Love - Chicago chapter!

The event was held on 2/1/2025 with seven storytellers sharing true tales about first love, last love, lost love, unrequited love and so much more! The event also featured acoustic performances of love-themed songs by local musicians, Allison Allen and Marc Harrison.

The Storytellers included:

Sarah Squires-Doyle, Angelina Pizza, Maura Mitchell, Mike Doyle, Lynn Gerdes, Kory May and Valee Kathy Kittikamron

The event took place at the Woman's Club of Wilmette to raise awareness of this historic community hub that is finally able to begin restoring the building and the auditorium from the devastating fire of 2015. A donation was made from ticket sale proceeds towards the rebuilding efforts. Ticket holders got a sneak preview of what's coming...one of the biggest stages in town!

LoveNotes! was created by Heather Christie in NYC, as a one-of-a-kind storytelling show in which real people share real stories about romantic love in all its incarnations. I was so grateful to be the first licensee to curate a production in my hometown.
